The pace-bike is still around now housed in the MOVE museum at shepparton in Victoria in a display with some information and a pace-cycle behind it. If you have any information about pace racing era of the 1920s and 30s I would be keen to hear from you - always gathering research. An amazing time.

Dave from OZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14434306506081727789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-910443829961573473.post-31085380979240377312023-08-15T02:17:17.064-07:002023-08-15T02:17:17.064-07:00It's absolutely fascinating to read about your...It's absolutely fascinating to read about your journey in restoring a pre-war motor pace bicycle! The level of history and craftsmanship embedded in these machines is truly remarkable. The concept of pacing behind specialist motor bikes at speeds exceeding 60 mph on saucer banked tracks sounds both exhilarating and daring. It's like a glimpse into a bygone era of adventurous spirits. By the way, speaking of restoration, if you're ever in need of vintage parts or assistance, you might want to check out Mazda Car Wreckers Brisbane.
